Coach Dan Atkenson was born and raised on the Southside and attended high school at Carl Sandburg High School where we won the state championship in 2002 and later earned a scholarship to Northern Illinois University where I was pitcher of the year for NIU in 2008. After college and for over 10 years now, I have coached and worked with a variety organizations from Top Tier to the Westside Warriors to the Prestige Organization and right now extremely passionate about passing on the knowledge I have learned and still continue to learn today to the younger generation and inspire them to reach their goals.
